-Quality analysis and testing of finished products and any other micro-related duties with the focus in Quality Assurance Department as well as the entire plant;

-acts as the site specific expert on all matters pertaining to microbiology, hygiene and sanitary practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Perform regular microbiological analysis which covers manufacturing processes and environment, raw material, semi-finished and finished products; microbial testing of water using Membrane Filter Method.

-Responsible in maintaining of the accuracy of microbial result of the samples submitted;

-Conduct micro-evaluation and give disposition; record evaluation results then release the result; maintain the lab in a safe and tidy manner at all times.

-Ensure that the micro-laboratory and equipment within is maintained to a standard that is safe and compliant with cGMP.

-Ensure the reagents and media used within the laboratory are updated and within the recommended expiry dates.

-Monitors and maintains inventory of materials and consumables in the laboratory;

-Update microbiological environmental monitoring results database; prepare daily and monthly microbiological analysis report and Statistical Process Control;

-Conducts physio-chemical analysis and sensory evaluation based on SOP’s; releasing of finished goods into market;

-With knowledge in post-process analysis; checking in-line process/environment and packaging activities;

-Established & implement of relevant good sanitary practices & procedures related to the manufacturing process.

-Performs other duties as instructed by Superior.
