Provide leadership for lead a team of Process Engineer whose main responsibilities are to develop and implement new heat exchanger manufacturing processes. Developing and manage departmental and project budgets. Other responsibilities include staff recruitment, resource allocation and employee assessment functions. Overall responsibility for capacity planning and manufacturing process planning.
2006 – 2010 Sr. Product and Process Engineer

Lead efforts to develop product and process specifications for tubular products. Also lead efforts to standardize product designs. Process Team Leader of heat exchanger manufacturing process industrialization for new product launches. Provided solutions to heat exchanger manufacturing related problems. Lead efforts to develop supplier selection criteria and standards.
Successfully lead a process team in launching a new heat exchanger manufacturing operation in Saltillo, Mexico. This project was launched on time and under budget.

I was also responsible for the specification, design, procurement and installation of tooling, fixtures, inspection gages and manufacturing equipment. Designed and developed a variety of processes such as brazing, forming, assembly and washing by utilizing statistical techniques such as Design of Experiments. I provided leadership in the development of DFMEA and PFMEA documentation.
Accomplishments:
Specified and managed the design, build and installation of a $1 million automated cell that has generated $12 million in sales revenue over the last 4 years. This cell exceeded the gross profit margin expectations.
Designed and developed new braze equipment and process that replaced an older and more expensive process resulting in a 10% cost reduction.
Project Manager for new business launches. Responsible for developing timing, costs and resource requirements.
