Communicated regularly with students and parents by email information about the course; the importance of due dates; that the parents will get an email every week on Sunday evening; the attendance policy; the expectation that students put in a minimum of 11.5 hours per week outside of class time on the computer and monitored students on a daily basis; made a phone call to students at the beginning of the course. Visited the assigned program site(s) at least one weekly. Graded and returned assignments on-time within two (2) days. Provided comprehensive feedback on assignments. Responded to all email within 24 hours. Send an email to each student on his or her progress on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and one day over the weekend. Followed the schedule that was created to visit students at the assigned school sites each week to give content assistance, check-in with Mentor. Checked notebooks when onsite – check for study guides, check to see that students are maintaining their portfolio. Kept in contact with parents on a regular basis if the student is behind – critical.
