-As Senior Manager Operations reported directly to the CEO

-Responsible for setting the operational strategic direction of the company

-Leading member of the pricing committee for non-standard offerings

-Bid team member for solution presentations to potential clients such as Bloomberg, ICAP, and Verizon

-Headed up the Operations Department of 20+ staff consisting of NOC, Outside Plant, and Installation Department

TVH Services provided Nortel with out-sourced Captive Office Management and Support.

My R&D Lab Environment Management responsibilities were:

-responsible for operation of all Nortel GSM HLR and HSS labs

- support the all equipment

-order new equipment

-engineer/provision new equipment

-engineering of any Captive Office retrofits or upgrades

-scheduling all workloads for the engineering team and wiremen

-providing detailed reports to the customer (Nortel) and TVH management on the status of all projects

-Co-ordination of lab environments for both local and off shore (Russia, China, India, Texas, Ottawa)

Sept. 2000 – Oct. 2002: SUBNET/NORTEL

Subnet Corporation provided Nortel with out-sourced Captive Office Management and Support. As a Captive Office lab manager in place I was moved to Subnet. The focus of the Maidenhead lab saw me moving from the Succession Voice over ATM product to the CS2K Voice over IP product.

My Captive Office Lab Management responsibilities were:

-order new equipment

-engineer/provision new equipment

-support the new equipment

As Project Engineer my responsibilities were:

-engineering of any Captive Office retrofits or upgrades

-engineering new installations

I headed up the Project Engineering group as Team Leader with additional responsibilities including:

-organizing the Project Engineering team members yearly schedules

-scheduling all workloads for the engineering team and wiremen

-providing detailed reports to the customer (Nortel) and Subnet management on the status of all projects

Nov. 1997 – Aug. 2000: NORTEL

I formed a Corporation named MONTEL Corp. and through this company I contracted my services to Nortel PND (Maidenhead R and D site) in the role of Lab Manager for DMS 100/200 switches used to provide an environment for the software development teams working on the Succession product.

My responsibilities were:

-maintain a stable switch environment

-maintain software loads and baseline hardware associated with the switches

-purchasing of new equipment (Nortel or third party vendor) associated with the developer's work

-arrange for the installation, commissioning, and integration of this equipment (SPM's, Passport 15K, XA-

Core)

-to explore new and unique methods of integrating the DMS with the new products

-International Technical Hardware Prime for France Telecom Trial on the Succession Voice over ATM

product

-establish Succession Voice over ATM captive offices in Maidenhead, MLV (Nortel France), Lannion (France

Telecom CNET site), and Ottawa, Canada

May 1990 – Nov 1997: ALTA TELECOM INC.

My responsibilities were as a general consultant, commissioner, and project manager on various projects from installation start to inservice and then post-inservice support.

-Commissioned DMS Supernode STP switches for NORTEL/Southwest Bell in Texas.

-Addition of Class Service (Drams, LPP, Memory Extension) at the Dallas-Fort Worth Texas Airport DMS

100 Host for NORTEL/GTE.

-MADN group rearrangement for GTE at the Dallas-Fort Worth Texas Airport DMS 100/RSC.

-Commissioned DMS 100 Host and Remote Switches for NORTEL/Pacific Bell California North Coast ATD

‘97 Project.

-Provided cutover expertise and training at DMS 100 Host and Remote switches for Pacific Bell in the ATD

‘97 California North Coast Project.

-Performed ISDN AMA certification and trained California Pacific Bell ESS Communication Technicians in

ISDN and the certification process.

-Have worked extensively with Nortel in the area of 88K’s (retrofitting).

-Developed Store File software and procedures for use with the Falcon Board to Board product of Nortel’s which is currently in use in the California environment.
