My drive, attention to detail, and quick learning skills and abilities as well as common sense excelled me from having no knowledge in the oil fields to performing all the various assignments involved with the installation and/or removal of casings from well bores at various locations, throughout California.

Within my first year, I advanced to representing the company independently on various locations by rigging up and operating various hydraulic powered tongs setups. Over the next two years installed casing strings of various depths and sizes. With my ingenuity and determination to have successful, timely job completions, I averted downtime when complications arose.

At three years with the company they implemented the PDSL position due to huge growth, limited training to ensure customer satisfaction. The PDSL’s primary role is ensuring the crews are representing the company in a professional manner, adhering to and enforcing customers and B&L’s safety procedures and policies, continued operations with minimal if any downtimes, and to fill in as needed.
