Employment History

I’ve currently been in customer service, cashier, and food handling business for approximately 3 years. As a cashier for Del Taco for 1 year and 2 year of retail in a discount mall. In the time I’ve received my food handler’s card and gained a wealth of experience as a cashier. Communication and friendliness are two important traits I bring to both customers and co-workers. I pride myself on my efficiency behind the cash register and my diligence on the tasks that I am given. I am also fluent in both Spanish and English.

As a cashier my primary job was to greet customers and take their orders. This includes bagging food, receiving money as well as giving correct change, and effective communication with the cooks. My primary responsibility was as a cashier, but I also have experience in food preparation. I also performed routine maintenance and stocked.

One of my many accomplishments while working here was receiving a food handler’s card.

An added benefit I gained while working for this establishment were the 2 valuable years of experience behind a cash register and the even more valuable customer service experience.

The greatest skills I have learned from my current employer is the experience as a team member with my co-workers and learning how to cooperate with others.
