WORKING EXPERIENCES
-- Feb 2012 - Present: Senior Credit Analyst @ BNP Paribas Fortis
As a credit analyst for the larger companies in the commercial banking segment (of which quite a few are listed on the belgian stock exchange), I receive credit applications from relationship managers which I have to review and analyze in depth (both qualitative and quantitative aspects), to assess amongst others the CF generating capacities of the company and the risks involved with that company. This eventually leads to an advice which I have to defend in front of BNP Paribas Fortis Credit Committee.
The latest transaction I worked on was the financing of an asset acquisition (including a proper valuation of the cash-generating assets) in the belgian retail sector, structured as a club deal between two banks with a total transaction value of EUR 25m.
