Responsible for the functional check and calibration of direct reading aircraft instruments and electro-mechanical sensing devices used for the accumulation of development test data.
Install, operationally check, calibrate and maintain direct reading instrumentation sensing devices of an electro-mechanical nature on aircraft undergoing flight test evaluation and performs the layout necessary to establish the locations for and accomplishes the assembly and installation to provide provisioning for new and changed engineering requirements.
Diagnose and correct all electro-mechanical and provisioning malfunctions of sensing device failures occurring during instrumentation system ground run or those detected during flight line operations.
Maintain, modify, repair and install various types of cameras used in flight test instrumentation or developmental research. Provide general instrumentation support for engineering projects. Familiar with all of Lockheed Martin published procedures pertaining to manufacturing, (SFM and EWI computer systems) EDU tools boxes and safety requirements. COMSEC briefed 2007.
American Eurocopter Electronics Mechanic - 2007
Performed assembly, installation, repair and/or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in the manufacture, maintenance or refurbishing of aircraft. Perform inspection, functional and operational check of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
Bell Helicopter Avionics Engineering Liaison - 2001
Responsible for writing bonding specification for the Bell 609 tilt rotor aircraft, which meet all bonding requirements set forth by Bell Helicopter and FA by utilizing the Bittle low ohmmeter tester. Test certain areas of the aircraft designated to provide low impedance paths for the lightning strike current to flow from entry to exit. Responsible for planning, charting and documenting all avionics parts installed on the Bell 609. Verify that parts have successfully past all RTCA/DO-160D environmental conditions and test procedures for airborne equipment requirements, Bell Helicopter, and vendor requirements approved by the FAA.
Production Planner Raytheon /Aerospace (DEA) – 2000-2001
Responsible for scheduling and charting maintenance production of aircraft based on statistic complied by maintenance. Provided the necessary work instructions to off-site mechanics to ensure aircraft parts, supplies and documents are expeditiously and accurately processed in accordance with established procedures. Compiled material inventory records and prepared requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies Coordinated with other departments to determine the status of assigned maintenance performed on aircraft. Oversee the entire operations in order to meet required mission schedules. Processed production reports using maintenance request and signed off completed invoices for payment to vendors. Prepared list of required parts, materials, and tools to install high tech surveillance equipment into government aircraft. Acted as the liaison between prospective vendors and the customer regarding maintenance, bid packages and aircraft equipment. Developed statements of work for customers requesting modifications, to ensure all maintenance being performed meet FAA standards. All reports were done using Microsoft Word and Excel.
