• Practice budget control and constantly liaising with material suppliers.

Re-designed primary structures, calculations of pre-conversion stability, designed hatch raised and widening, re-designed pontoon covers, design of heavy load beams and pillars, upgrading of existing derrick mast and boom from 15tons to 40 tons SWL re-design rigging, re-designed cargo hold and inner bottoms.

Conduction of Inclining experiments & trim stability calculations and alignment of container fittings and locators.

Assistant Manager Planning & Estimating Dept. 1977 to 1980: Provide technical support for ship repair department, development of scope works, project schedules, labor, man hour and costing, representing the company in foreign countries for technical negotiations, ships inspection and surveying.

Assistant Manager for Shipyard Special Project. 1974 to 1977: Lead the shipyard to expand services from ship repair to ship building and ship conversions, conduct employee seminars for skill jobs training program, conduct training in mold lofting, welding, and ship fittings.

Supervised any repair jobs with over 25 metric tons of steel re platings, docking calculations, ultrasonic gauging and development of work package.
