Drafted from Development Department to head newly created department. Created and produced ancillary events for popular summertime program, Beethoven by the Beach. Efforts resulted in larger audiences for concerts, increased knowledge of orchestra in community and development of relationships with Sun-Sentinel, South Florida Theater of the Deaf, Museum of Art and more. Through grueling schedule of cold calling and logistical coordination, succeeded in launch of Community Tours, a series of 60 concerts in 60 locations over a period of 60 days.
