From your institution’s web site, I learned about your need for a Logistic Representative in the Charlotte, North Carolina location. I am very interested in this position, and I believe that I have the educational and employment background needed to fill this position.
While working toward my associate’s degree, I was employed as a traffic coordinator with Cargill, an oil refinery. Having worked with Cargill for 14 years, I have gained a wealth of experience in customer service and in team building. In addition, I maintained a professional, cordial, and collaborative working relationship with my colleagues and with the clients that we supplied. I would like to repeat this success with your company.
I also have a strong background in the use of computer technology. My experience in customer service is advantageous in that I have the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds. I am confident that if given the opportunity, I could apply my knowledge and experience in a collegiate setting. I completed my Associate’s degree in Business Science in December 2008, and I completed my B.A. Degree of Business Management August, 2010.
I look forward to talking with you regarding the Logistics position with your organization. I have enclosed a copy of my resume for your review. Within the next week, I will contact you to confirm that you received my e-mail and resume and to answer any questions that you may have regarding my qualifications.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Vivian Boyd-Pressley
