Grew up in Cleveland, MS in the heart of the Mississippi Delta, graduated from the BS program of nursing at Delta State University in Cleveland, MS. Mother and other extended family still reside in Cleveland. I love my hometown. I moved to the Mississippi Coast following my divorce with my only child, Holly. Following hurricane Katrina we returned to the coast for a year and repaired our home then sold it moving back to north Mississippi. We went through five or six hurricanes during the time we lived on the coast. We loved the semi-tropical climate but not the storms that go with the beautiful coast.
