The Athens-To-Atlanta Road Race is a 27-year-old international inline skating event that is the largest of its kind in the country. More than 300 skaters from 12 countries and 41 states will skate on nearly 90 miles of roadways throughout north Georgia. As the fundraising and promotions representative, I am working with a team to develop multi-media collateral materials to meet marketing and fundraising goals for this annual event.

Created the Dalton Bureau and became the top regional writer of daily news stories, generating 1,225 articles under byline. As a region photographer, I successfully contributed multiple stand-alone photos for the Georgia section. Project utilized industry-specific software, Internet-based research, digital photography, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Hospice of Chattanooga provides comprehensive end-of-life care to residents in 18 counties in Tennessee and Georgia and requires hundreds of volunteers to provide non-clinical care for patients. Drove volunteer recruitment program exceeding Medicare-required volunteer participation by 15 percent. Program included new training, enhancing programming content and developing innovative retention strategies for 300+ volunteers. Designed and provided content of collateral recruitment materials for agency as well as volunteer services program. PageMaker, Microsoft Publisher, Photoshop, digital photography, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel were used to capture and maintain interest of multi audience message while driving corporate initiatives.
