Forging and heavy gauge stamping for the railroad suspension industry
Tool and Die Maker
Responsible for the entire stamping business platform as the sole tool and diemaker. Products are a variety of railcar suspension components from 1/8” to 9/16” thickness high carbon steel.
• Building and designing new die components, repairing out of specification dies, heat treating tool steels and programming HAAS cnc mills to complete projects
CHRYLSER, Twinsburg, Ohio • 2007–2008
Chrysler stamping plant producing Class A, structural, and component metal panels for a multitude of Chrysler vehicle platforms. Employed 1,200.
Tool & Die Supervisor • 2007–2008
Supervised new model try-out, assembly, welding, and machine shop. Oversaw preventive maintenance, schedules, defects, production runs, and safety measures on Class A stamping dies.
