EXPERIENCE

Management and Leadership

•First line supervisor of subordinates at the Air Operations Squadron (AOS) Weather Flight.

•Shift supervisor for sole Department of Defense (DOD) executive agency and functional weather expert for all combat aircraft for worldwide deployments and foreign aircraft sales.

•Managed and trained weather personnel on the Integrated Meteorological System (IMETS); created and enacted a standard operating procedure for the IMETS.

•Filled Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) void and served as the communications security monitor; trained in new NCOIC while maintaining normal operations in a war zone.

•Assistant manager of multiple ice rink facilities overseeing and supporting 20 plus individuals, scheduling, performing ice maintenance, and providing customer service.

Meteorology

•Created daily graphics intense forecasts for Commander Air Combat Command (ACC) that over-viewed weather at all 23 ACC Bases as well as a local 5 day forecast.

•Forecast weather phenomenon for transcontinental and oceanic flights to aircrew's around the globe through the use of multiple web applications.

•Performed and managed the collection, analysis, and forecast of atmospheric weather and space environmental conditions issued warnings, watches and advisories when necessary.

•Collected, analyzed, integrated, and briefed to private, public, and senior level audiences atmospheric and space environmental information involved in the military decision-making processes.

•Observed, recorded, and transmitted surface, upper air and space environment observations.

•Operated atmospheric and space-sensing instruments to interrogate data from weather radars, meteorological satellites, and products provided by military, national, and international weather agencies.

•Coordinated requirements and developed Controlling Mission Executions Forecasts as the DOD lead forecaster for all Air Force, Navy, Marine, combat and bomber aircraft for the Chairman Joint Chief of Staff and Headquarters ACC directed deployments.

•Maintained a forecaster accuracy rate over 92 percent and an error free rate over 98 percent.

•Operated, maintained, and conducted training on tactical communication, meteorological systems and sensing equipment and vehicles.

Safety and Security

•Revamped the ACC/AOS safety program and organized the clerical system allowing for safety awards and perfect inspections for 5 years.
