Disney-Intern at Roy O Disney Production Facility June 2012-Present

Assisted in all audio production needs including set up, recording, mixing, final QC and archiving of sessions, under supervision of Dan Fontana and Steve Skorija. Observed workflow of high-end studio and clients. Worked along side with music directors, producers, engineers, show directors, and composers to create the magic of Disney. Helped implement projects from the studio to the venue to assure proper levels for guests.

Dark Elf Films-Breaking Point March 2012

Performed as sound recorder, boom op, sound editing and design, rerecording mixer. Cleaned production dialog, turned directors vision into reality with sound effects, scored ending credits. Worked on a tight deadline and exceeded the directors expectations. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2319791)

Academic Experience Projects

Session Recording and Mastering

• Produced, Tracked, Mixed and Mastered track for recording artists Zuva

• Used SSL Duality in combination with SSL AWS 900, SSL 9000J, and Amek 9098i to track musical assets including Drums, Guitar, Bass, Percussion and vocals through vintage and new tube gear

• Tracked session to Pro Tools 9 HD with a final track count of 100 tracks of usable data to be compiled and mixed to stereo

• Used a combination of mix techniques such as EQ, Compression through analog and digital gear

• Used time based effects to give more character to the mix

• Took final mixdown of tracks, which peaked at -6dbfs, for mastering

• Mastered final project using Sequoia, in combination of EQs and Compressors such as GML surgical EQ and Tube tech multiband tube compressor to achieve final mastered mix

• Knowledge of various microphones, micing techniques, analog and digital gear, as well as consoles

• A solid knowledge of signal flow and the recording process from the engineer side as well as musician

• An understanding of Music Composition and Theory

• Strong knowledge of how and when to implement effects such as EQ, Compression and Time Based effects

As a recent graduate of Full Sail University receiving a Recording Arts Bachelor of Science, I have found my goals and aspirations for the audio world. In addition to being a Certified Post and Music Operator in Avid’s industry standard Pro Tools, I have acquired an extensive knowledge of the workflow from pre production to mastering.
