Following are my detailed job responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of WPS, conducting PQR, WQT, including In process Inspection in all common welding processes e.g. SMAW, GTAW, SAW, GMAW, FCAW etc, for the material CS,LTCS, SS, Corten steel, Duplex and other common material used in construction industries.

• Preparation & Reviewing PQP, QCP/ITP and Work procedure. .

• Planning/Carrying out mechanical inspection activities. Responsible for managing the Inspection program at job site. Coordination of painting work.

• Doing surveillance audit on welder/welding operator for compliance with WPS. Carry out Audit; prepare checklist & audit reports specifying corrective /preventive action.

• Responsible for maintaining the specific standard of the job concerned and to assure the works are executed as per the required codes, standards & approved procedures of the work concerned. Responsible for the overall supervision & inspection project materials, welding, weld preparations, prefabrication, installation of pipelines, preheat & PWHT verification, coordination of NDT work, study of NDT reports, test pack insulation, P&ID checks and punch list, maintaining all relevant records to handover to the pre-commissioning engineer on construction completion and liaison with client regarding testing and acceptance of work.
