Manufacturing and processing operations management and support stretching across 34 states and 58 factories with revenues from manufacturing operations of $400M. Directly manage the manufacturing operations capital expenditures and continuous Improvement budget of $4.5M with a goal of all capital investment achieving 3 year ROI. Directly manage Continuous Improvement department initiatives.

• Developed short-term strategic plan for utilities management cost reduction resulting in a reduction of $750K over 12 months.

• Developed short-term strategic plan for network analysis and factory consolidations resulting in a reduction of manufacturing facilities from 58-54 over two years, followed by a decrease in unit costing resulting from increased capacity utilization.

• Developed demand planning and forecasting technique to minimize transfer expense and increase capacity utilization resulting in a YTD, YOY of $1M better to the EBITDA on the factories tested.

Reddy Ice Corp. Plant City, FL – Area Manager – (2003-2009)

Operations management for 19 facilities in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina with revenues of approximately $100M. Indirect management of 19 Operations Managers and Plant Engineers with a total staff upwards of 150+ employees.

• Developed productivity metrics for production processes measured through equipment performance and employee utilization. Implemented metrics at all manufacturing locations which resulted in a head count reduction of roughly 15% aggregated, as well as the implementation of best practices for manufacturing and processing staffing.

• Successfully organized and lead 2 plant expansion projects greater than $1M each. Both included factory consolidations and an ROI less than 2 years.

• Assumed several lead roles during critical situations, from the 2004 hurricane season which devastated Florida to catastrophic plant failures.

Reddy Ice Corp. Tampa, FL –Operations Manager – (1999-2003)

Operations management of the Tampa factory with sales greater than $20M annually, as well as direct management of plant staff 40+ employees.

• Worked with Area Management to stay in the top 5 largest Reddy Ice factories measured by volume and revenue each year

• Achieved Reddy Ice, best performance overall for manufacturing factory 3 years in a row

• Reduced unit costing YOY every year through capacity utilization and process improvements

• Implemented maintenance management system, reducing unpredictable breakdowns and enabling better control of parts inventories.
