Process and make maintenance purchases and maintain receipts for all facilities. Complete plumbing and carpentry duties.

11/06 – 09/07 Boys Club of New York/New York, NY

*DOORMAN (Part Time) – Answered and directed all incoming telephone calls, greeted guests and vendors, sorted, delivered all incoming office mail and delivered it to all appropriate staff, displayed advertisement and pamphlets about the program, assisted kitchen staff with incoming delivery of food, beverages and provided administrative support to the program’s Department Administrator. Completed maintenance duties as needed, such duties were stripping, waxing and buffing floors, trash removal, clean building’s interior, exterior and bathrooms. Maintained inventory of incoming maintenance supplies. Removed and discarded used furniture.

09/05 –12/05 Kenton Men’s Shelter/New York, NY

*RESIDENTIAL AIDE (Per Diem) - Provided daily supervision over 100 males in a shelter/mentally ill/methadone maintenance program. Monitored residents for any unusual behavior such as intoxication, bizarre behavior and reported it to treatment personnel when necessary. Completed Department of Homeless Services incident reports after all incidents that occurred in the facility. Provided crisis intervention in an emergency situation and maintain security guidelines of the shelter facility. Ensured that residents were out of the dormitory by an established time and reminded them of daily schedules. Maintained census records on a daily bases, recorded and secured clients' personal property. Monitored medication intakes.
