Qualifications:

Since graduating from college I have become very familiar with many areas of a medical office. My experience includes reception, multi-line telephone operations, referrals, and medical record maintenance with both paper and electronic medical records (EMR). My work with EMRs has included the transition from paper to electronic charts and learning how to use Medent to code and name each document. While learning this process has broadened my knowledge of current technology, particularly medical terminology and some of these documents that I inputted had new types of tests on them that were not taught to me in college.
