Complete management of book division for Gulf Publishing Company, a reputable publisher that has been in the oil & gas industry for over 90+ years. The book division was closed for three years till late 2003 and reopened with a new look and new brand that I created. Along with being the Product Manager, my responsibilities included overseeing the front desk, greeting customers, answering front phones and maintaining schedule for all heads of the company through MS Outlook calendar, as well as scheduling lunches and board room meetings for the CEO. Gulf Publishing Co. has two publications, prepared mass mail outs for promotional events/special offers/sales, incoming and outgoing mail distribution, FedEx and UPS package preparation, data entry, invoicing, typing up Memorandums and/or letters on MS Word, accounts payable, accounts receivables were also part of the position as well as accommodating any customers concerns, internal, via phone or website.

Managed and solved all existing customer concerns regarding their services with our company. Took detailed accounts of customer’s issues and followed proper procedures to immediately satisfy customer. Created a solid rapport with customers, to gain their trust in our service and company. Answered front desk that consisted of 16 incoming phone lines, in an orderly and timely manner. Generated weekly reports that consisted of the Regional earnings on MS Excel. Prepared FEDEX packages via website for outgoing packages, typed up letters and memorandums on MS Word, Distributed, mailed out copies and emailed through MS Outlook of all the reports to proper destinations. Helped with accounts receivable/collections at the end of the month through an internal IMPAC system. Help with the preparation of invoices and mailed them out to customers.
