Summary of Qualifications
Dedicated leader with comprehensive management experience and demonstrated the ability to provide training, managing, and encouraging team members to achieve objectives of the company while maintaining low employee turnover. Has proven progressive track record of saving the company substantial amount of dollars by reducing overtime, set up high efficient training programs, reducing supply cost, increasing machine speeds and efficiencies. Some of the projects included: lean manufacturing and 6 Sigma events in reducing trims, down time, and waste on both the Extrusion lines and on the Rewinders/Slitter, reducing trims on all the machines lead to a savings of 5 million dollars. A 6 Sigma project on waste with 3M supplier resulted in reduction of on and off wastes on the Rewinder/Slitter machines that produced another million dollars in savings. In addition, I also worked on a project involving down time on machines that included cycle times of on and off loading raw materials. It helped reduce the change over time by about 10 minutes per roll changes of materials; this opened up 75 more days of machine capacities yearly. I have over 20 years of pulp and paper converting experience with almost 7 years of proven progressive leadership in production management.
