Results: Reduced workforce 40%; maintained manufacturing support.

Developed performance evaluation management system for engineering organization. Created list of key factors; organized measuring data; tracked and reviewed monthly data with peer group; coached supervisors; directed focus on projects.

Results: Improved product quality 21%; reduced safety incidents 33%; reduced project costs 66%.

Coached and implemented start up of MRP II shop floor systems at two manufacturing plants on two separate occasions. Analyzed needs; communicated needs and requirements to team members; developed implementation schedule; conducted training; implemented software while running parallel systems and maintaining production schedule.

Results: Both systems brought on line, on schedule and within budget while increasing production.

Lead team to identify composite tank deficiency of resin content and present design problem to commercial airline customer.

Results: Ultimately lead to design changes and centering the winding process to reduce scrap rate.

Lead team to implement lean techniques, including defining standard work, to increase quality and on time deliveries

Results: on time delivery rate from 32% to 96% in less than six months and reduced scrap and defect rate.

Consulted with/lead teams in one major pharmaceutical company by using lean and operational excellence techniques such as, standard work, Kanban, Takt time, Kaizen, continuous improvement, and balancing flow. (PDCA or 6 sigma Defining and Controlling)

Results: reduce costs over 700 million

Change agent to create a disciplined defined operational excellence system and continuous improvement mentality across the organization.

Results: Taught and implemented operational excellence techniques such as, one number plan, KPI metrics, score card, standard work, Kanban, Takt time, Kaizen, commodity based supply chain, continuous improvement, and balancing flow. (PDCA or 6 sigma Defining and Controlling) Typical cost reduction between 25% and 50% depending on starting state of organization.
