WORK HISTORY

2009-2010 QUALIS CORP

Engineering Technician for Quails Corp, at RSJPO (Robotics Systems Joint Project Office) located in the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, MI. I report to the Technical Management Office. RSJPO is the lead organization for the development, systems engineering, integration, acquisition, testing, fielding, sustainment and improvement of unmanned systems for the Warfighter to ensure safe, effective and supportable capabilities are provided while meeting cost, schedule and performance. I currently provide input on Acquisition decisions, engineering modifications / upgrades, and testing of various technical issues for unmanned robotics platforms used primarily in Afghanistan (OEF) and Iraq (OIF) for IED (roadside bombs) detection and disarming. I have worked on the Foster Miller (QinetiQ) Talon 3B / Talon IV, the iRobot FasTac, and XBot, and the AGT MARCbot 4/4N and the

Dok-ing MV4-B. I have traveled to Aberdeen proving grounds, Aberdeen MD, and Yuma proving grounds, Yuma, AR to support various operational assessments for equipment, for both the U.S. Army and U.S Marine Corps, my travel is about

2008-2009 LG ELECTRONICS

Factory Authorized Direct Mobile Service Technician

Worked for LG Electronics covering southeast Michigan performing service on all LG Electronics equipment and appliances, such as, 50” and 42” Plasma and LCD TV’s as well as refrigerators, Air conditioners, and Heat Pumps (PTACS), Mapped out and prescreened service calls, interfaced with Tech support and ordered all parts needed to complete requested warranty service repairs.

2006-2008 CL AUTOMOTIVE

Senior Maintenance Technician

Providing maintenance, and support for plant production, quality and engineering departments. Interfaced with, Plant Manager, Engineering Manager, and Maintenance Manager to prioritize jobs. Equipment maintained are, various build tables and test tables for headliners, for the Cadillac DTS and the Buick Lucerne as well as the console build area, and headrest area for Hamtramck GM plant. Other equipment worked on were, Econo Lifts, Jiffy and Viet steamers, various screw guns and there controllers. Replacement parts used were Allen-Bradley SLC 550 PLC’s, Allen Bradley Micro Logics 1500 PLC, assorted Allen-Bradley input and output modules. Various proxy sensors and switches, fiber optic sensors, lasers, SMC air control slides, valves, and cylinders. Equipment used for repair and upgrade are RSlogix 500, RSlinx software and a laptop to download and upload programs to the PLC’s. Also covered IT in the plant, during vacation / sick leave.

And provided repair and support for hand held scanners, zebra printers, PC’s, PC to PLC communication, and some IT server support. Help to obtain TS16949 plant certification by doing a full inventory of spare parts, organizing parts inventory and develop several maintenance documents for certification. Recently was selected for ISO 140001 environmental impact certification group, to obtain that certification.

2006-2006 THE WOODBRIDGE GROUP

Senior Maintenance Technician

Providing maintenance and repair for equipment used to build the Pontiac G6 undercarriage for the GM plant in Lake Orion, Mi. Interfaced with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager to prioritize repairs, or projects to be completed. The Equipment maintained were a Bosh conveyor system, two Fanuc robots with 4 Atlas Copco nut runners attached, Allen-Bradley panelview 1000 touch screen PLC’s , Allen-Bradley SLC 550 PLC’s hand held scanners, and various pneumatic sensors , fiber optic sensors, and various prox switches and sensors, SMC air control valves. Fallowed and updated PM schedules as well as the parts inventory software. Organized equipment documentation, both operation manuals and schematic diagrams. Some of the equipment used to repair and upgrade of equipment are Mig Welder, band saw, scissor lift, several air tools and many different hand tools

2004 – 2006 CURTISS-WRIGHT CORP.

Senior Maintenance Technician

Providing maintenance of shot peening machines. Help install and maintain DISA and Coyote blast machines, troubleshoot Allen-Bradley panel view 500 and 550, reprogram via laptop using Rockwell RSlogic 500 software, remove & replace PowerFlex 70 motor controllers, 2 hp to 20 hp, (230 / 480 volt 3 phase), and reprogram via HIM modules. Troubleshoot & reprogram Emerson motor controllers via laptop. Remove and replace various pneumatic valves, Mac, Onyx, and RKL. Interface with various Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Disa, customer service Engineers in order to improve machine reliability, troubleshoot various Allen-Bradley relays 193’s, 509-bod, removed and installed various power supplies.
