I operated my own landscaping business for 4 years as president, supervisor, and operations manager. Due to the economic recession two of my large contractors/builders went out of business, which in turn; I lost them as customers and my business had to be shut down.
Job duties included:
Inside, outside, and B2B sales, customer service, ordering materials on a timely basis, providing complete safety to my employees and the public near my project sites, calling in utility locates 48 hours prior to digging, invoicing, operations management, billing, supervising, estimating, training staff, inventory control, managing, bidding on projects, and also working 8 to 12 hours a day installing landscaping materials 5 to 6 days a week.
I have supervised 5 to 20 crew members on small to large commercial projects and residential projects ranging from $5,000 to $200,000.
