Similar to my role at Johnson Controls, at this position I operated an ISO Certified Metrology Lab. By operating this department with strong profitability, I created revenue to expand the company into new areas.

This aluminum die cast company serviced the automotive and furniture industries. I helped develop new products, and created product documentation for our customers. I introduced CMM technology into their Quality department, allowing the company to obtain automotive business. We were the first die cast company to be named a certified supplier to Delco Electronics.

EXPERIENCE: Gill Industries, Grand Rapids Michigan.

1986 to 1992 Quality Inspector.

Gill is an ISO-certified metal stamping plant servicing the automotive industry. I was promoted a number of times and held positions including machine operator, Quality Inspector and Die Designer. While working at the Tool & Die division, I transitioned the company’s design department from manual drafting to CAD.
