As a junior in college, I was required to complete a 40 hour practicum. The objective was to get acquainted with the professional office atmosphere and daily duties of an architect. Upon completion of the 40 hours I was offered an opportunity to return for a summer internship. Since then I have acquired a Bachelors of Architecture Degree and am now a full-time Architectural Intern. In this position I produce and organize construction documents, am a personal assistant to the principals and head designers (assisting with the production of sketches, conceptual design, renderings, 3D models, parti models, presentation models and visuals, color boards, research and data collecting, and more).
