I began this position as a mentorship program during my senior year in high school. I was responsible for construction drawings, details, and presentation drawings of residential new construction.
1997-2004
Drywall Contractor - Justin Miller Drywall
I began my business sub-contracting for my uncle who had a business of 30 years. After a few months I began to obtain jobs from contractors and homeowners in the area. I was responsible for attracting my clients through advertising and referrals.
2004-2005
Draftsman - Commodore Corporation
I was trained using Argos, a CAD program designed for manufactured housing. I was responsible for performing revisions and specialty orders of production drawings.
2005-2010
Remodeling Contractor - Miller Remodeling
Rental Management - Miller Rentals
I began attracting projects consisting of older homes in disrepair that I would over see and physically renovate. I performed roughly 12 homes that were single or multi-family dwellings. During this period I began management of 30 residential rental properties in Elkhart County.
