PURPOSE

To seek a Piping Designer position which will allow me to utilize my experiences and enhance my skills in piping layout design.

SUMMARY

With 10 years experience as Piping Designer/Engineer in the field of detailed engineering and design in Oil & Gas refinery, Chemical, and Industrial Plants. Has a strong background in piping design, drafting, 3D modeling, and checking experience. Proficient in the use of Intergraph Plant Design System (PDS) software, SmartPlant P&ID, MicroStation, AutoCad, SmartPlant Review (SPR), and NavisWorks. Worked as a trainor and Project Lead experience handling Smartplant PID. Knowledgeable in Plant Design Management System (PDMS) and SmartPlant 3D softwares.

EXPERIENCE

2011 – Present Piping Design Engineer, Daelim Industrial Co., Ltd, Seoul, South Korea

Fluidized Catalytic Cracking and Sulfur Recovery Unit - Petron Bataan Refinery. Works as a Piping Design Engineer responsible for reviewing and checking subcontractors 3d model and design, prepare engineering concepts and issue into detail design, review and comment on vendor information, assist the principal engineer in the planning, co-ordination and execution of the groups work activities.

2007 – 2011 Piping Designer, J&S Consultancy Services Inc., Makati, Philippines

Algeria Oman Fertilizer Project - Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MCEC). Models and layout large and small bore piping in Piperack 1101 and compressor area, as well as equipment modeling and production of isometrics.

AR-RAZI FLARE II Modification Project - Saudi Methanol Company. Primary task is to do Piping lay-out of the additional Flare Header and rerouting of all PSVs and vent lines to the new flare header in the Plant IV area. Issuance of deliverables such as Material Take-Off estimates and sketches, isometric detail drawings, and Piping Plan drawings.

PTA-PKN Project - Polski Koncern Naftowy Orlen S.A Poland. Assigned in Yokohama Japan. Responsible for piping layout and ang equipment modeling using PDS. Act as assistant group leader and coordinator of PDS designers for an organized and uniform modeling procedure.

Singapore Parallel Train Project (SPOX) - EXXON MOBIL Chemical Asia Pacific. Execute Detail Engineering around the Finishing and Packaging area and other misc. piping, prepare the 2d drawings for special supports using Autocad.

2007 – 2007 Piping Designer, Foster Wheeler Co., Singapore

Shell Project. Shell Eastern Petroleum (SEPL). Piping design responsibilities include updating modification of piping layouts and preparation of piping support details using Microstation.

2005 – 2006 Piping Designer, Kyowa Engineering Company, Yokohama, Japan

HDI Project - Japanese Polyurethane Corporation. Performed pipe design and equipment modeling using PDS software.

8M Project - Nippon Polyurethane Company. Task involved was to develop plot plan and equipment layout.

2001 – 2005 Piping Designer, Fluor Daniel Inc., Phils., Alabang, Philippines

Ultra Diesel Plus Project - Ultramar Canada Inc. Ultramar Ltd in Canada wanted to increase the 100,000 barrel-per-day gasoline manufacturing capacity at its refinery in Quebec.

Performed pipe design and equipment modeling using PDS software around Aircooler area for the process and utility lines.

TENGIZCHEVROIL Asset Development Projects – Tengizchevroil. a combination of the Sour Gas Injection (SGI) and the Second Generation Plant (SGP) Projects at the giant Tengiz and Korolev Fields, located on the northeastern shore of the Caspian Sea. new production wells and associated gathering system together with crude stabilisation, crude desalting, sour gas dehydration, gas processing, sulfur recovery, crude oil export systems, LPG processing, storage, and loading, as well as offsites and utilities.

Executed detail engineering for the Next Generation Gathering System (NGGS) of 17 wellheads as well as in the metering station.

United Olefins Complex Project - Jubail United Petrochemical Company. Is a cracker producing 1 million ton/year of ethylene.

Work scope includes backdraft for issue and revisions isometric drawings , pipe re-routing, installing of pipe supports, equipment modifications, instrument and piping specialty component update In PDS. Update and marked up P&ID for the changes made.

Chervon Clean Fuel Project – Chevron USA. & Equilon Clean Fuel Project. Assigned as Assistant Designer, work scope includes basic 3-D modeling of piping, equipment and structures using Plant Design System (PDS) by Intergraph. Preparation of 2D drawings for all details needed for the final design stage using Microstation and AutoCAD.
