Responsibilities include but not limited to managing the bidding process, plans and specification review, providing scopes of work, negotiating with sub-trades, provide bonding and insurance as required and writing proposal documents. Most recently added Warranty and Customer Service to my position. This requires client contact and contract knowledge. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, experience in cost estimating and the ability to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. This position requires that I interact with very diverse departments, both internally and externally with clients.
Integrated Construction; Southlake, Texas January 2006 to 0ctober 2008 Project Administrator
Provided administrative support for General Contractor In the multi-family and senior living facilities industry. Responsibilities included estimating, bidding and contract negotiations. Reviewed and approved draws and invoices pertaining to each project. This Position required negotiations skills, extensive budget knowledge and strong communication skills. Position was fast paced and required me to multi-task under definitive time lines with little or no management.
The Struhs Companies; Fort Worth, Texas May 2004 to January 2006 Contract Administrator
Provided administrative support to the owner of a Development and Construction company. Position included contract negotiations for building custom homes in the $3M range and for the development of town homes. Worked closely with city officials in regards to city contracts and permitting process. Maintained all budgets related to each project for accuracy and staying within the projected cost of construction. Required Maintained personal records and finances for the owner in addition to the company overall. Responsible for reviewing, verifying and processing all expense reports for field staff as well as owner. Processed weekly and monthly spreadsheets and reports for review by the owner and specific bank officials for accuracy and authenticity.
