Purpose: To conduct market research and analysis to determine optimal methods for advertising, selling, distributing, and supporting two of Scottish Rite’s programs designed for use by classroom teachers, reading specialists, and special education teachers to improve reading fluency and comprehension of students in grades 1 through 8
Determined:
• The proportion of public school districts that are still in the process of selecting intermediate level reading programs
• The most effective methods and projected costs of marketing the two programs in Texas and nationwide
• The projected revenues based on sales estimates
• If marketing, sales, product distribution, and support expectations can be met most effectively by Texas Scottish Rite staff, private sector partnerships, or a combination
