• Supervised staff directly including: I.E. Technician, I.E. Clerk, and S & R Lead.

• Responsible for standard cost budgets and weekly POVA reporting.

• Responsible for capital expenditure budgets and project analysis, proposals, and project management.

• Maintained plant layout, time study, work measurement, job assignment, and methods improvement.

• Assist in Engineering Improvement Teams, Six Sigma, Ergonomics Task Force, TPM Leadership, Q.I.T., S.A.F.E., and S.M.S. Certification.

• Mobile Creel

Instrumental in development over a 3 year period, the revolutionary design of a Robotic Lift Device used with a Mobile Creel to dramatically increase Twisting package size and efficiency, eliminate manual handling after Twisting, and reducing labor requirements 20 % in Twisting and Heat Set.

• Step Increase in Heat Set Belt Speeds and Belt Mass

Trials on increases of 10 to 30% in Heat Set production.

• Annual budgeted savings between $1.0 and $1.5 Millions

Identified and implemented cost savings over the entire cost spectrum including Labor, Waste, Repairs, Overhead Fixed, and Variable.
