As a Senior E&I Manager, I have extensive experience in all types of industrial mills and plants. I have been involved in all construction phases from project planning to plant startup on multimillion dollar new construction as well as plant upgrades and maintenance outages. I have worked my way up by having a high level of attention for detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

KBR / BE&K Construction September 2005 – Present

ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTS PLANNER SCHEDULER / E&I MANAGER

During the new construction of a $500M Kevlar® Plant for DuPont®, I ordered all owner-supplied material for the installation by the electrical and instrumentation direct-hire labor force (valued over $15M). I coordinated subcontractors responsible for the Fiber Optic and Communication Systems, assuring schedule compliance and achieving budget goals. I also was responsible for the activities of the lighting and receptacles subcontracts with a $.6M budget for labor costs.

GENERAL FOREMAN 2

Southern Company, Juliette, GA. Oversaw the E&I Construction of Two Bag Houses ($508M) and directly supervised a maximum crew of over 100 personnel, coordinating with Operations for shutdown scheduling on an active plant. I planned and coordinated system turnovers and punch list completions.

Marathon Plant, Ashland, KY. Responsible for Electrical and Instrumentation crews, with peak staffing at 75, to include daily scheduling and planning of both personnel and materials. The scope of this project was the installation of new equipment, associated calibration and construction of equipment infrastructure and valued at $20M. I also performed the take off for material needed to complete the work.

E&I MAINTENANCE

Coviendian, Raleigh, NC. I was a shift technician and responsible for daily preventative maintenance on equipment and calibrations as well as new equipment installation and plant upgrades.

GENERAL FOREMAN

DuPont®, LaPlace, LA. While overseeing the E&I crews, I was responsible for daily scheduling, planning, new construction and equipment installation.

SUPERINTENDENT

3M, Pittsboro, NC. I managed the Maintenance Shop, supervising the scheduling and planning, examining work orders, procurement of material and parts, safety walkthroughs and meetings and performed daily preventative maintenance.

E&I MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN August 2004 – September 2005

National Staffing, Polaroid, Boston, MA

I was responsible for the E&I training of new hires on the Bebco EPS Purge Systems, maintained thermocouples, RTD installation, calibrating, control valves and single loop controls (352 & 353) daily preventative maintenance.
