I was the Subject Mater Expert (SME) on the internal project for Hitachi Consulting implementing r12 e Business Suite Globally. My role was for the implementation of Project Accounting (Costing, Billing, Resource Management, and Projects Management) and the interfaces in the Oracle eBusiness Suite. I assisted in the configuration CRP0 to demonstrate the functionality of Project Accounting and to determine the process flows that needed to be customized. Conducted meeting with the client to document current process flows and demonstrate how those process flows could be met by the standard functionality of Project Accounting. I provided documentation for the RICEW (Reports, Interface, Conversion, Extension and Workflow) that will be produced by the “Off-Shore” team. I provided the requirements document that was collected from the client.

The project required globalizations and localizations for the Dominican Republic and multi-currency for the US Dollar, Canada Dollar and the Dominican Peso and multi-lingual for Spanish and English. Additionally, I was responsible for the data interfaces from 3rd party software for Purchasing and Project Costing. I did the implementation in Spanish and English. The implementation impacted processes such as Quote to Cash, Order to Cash and Procure to Pay. I developed and presented labs covering those process cycles.

Project: Implementation of Oracle Projects in Girasol Oracle Applications Project Costing Release 11 Implemented Oracle Applications Project Accounting, Project Costing Release 11 for Oracle Brazil at Girasol, Florianopolis, Brazil. Girasol is the major supplier of hydroelectric power for Brazil and Argentina. They construct hydroelectric, nuclear, and thermoelectric production plants.
