I have been forklift certified with most employers and would be an asset to a company needing warehouse assistance. This includes stocking, to loading/unloading, to inventory control, etc.

I did graduate from East Central High School in 1981. I do have a diploma. My studies included Auto Paint/Body in which I received the award for. I also took classes for business math.

Although I never held a title for any warehouse activities, I have experience in the warehouse over the past 30 years. I am mechanically inclined. I do my own mechanic work. I can repair just about anything and I am a quick learner.

Work history:

I am currently working for Kimberly Clark through Hawkins Personnel as a long term temporary position. My title is Forklift Operator. I am loading/unloading pallets of inventory into trailers and racks. I, also pull orders for shipment and keep the warehouse clean that surpasses company standards. I am currently seeking a permanent opportunity with a company that has good benefits. I have another 20 years of work ahead of me. I will consider a temp to hire position.

Dayton Superior, through VIP Staffing. 12/12/2011-1/19/2012. I built bases for molds and liners that are used for forms to put concrete in. This also included building dams around the MDF molds with all kinds of angles. I used all kinds of woodworking tools, including table saws, miter saws drills, sanders, etc. I worked with pouring rubber into molds to make the liners. I worked in the finishing department and was forklift certified.

Vita Nonwoven, through Staff Connections. 9/19/2011-12/12/2011

I was the winderhead #1. I took rolls of foam from the machine, weighed them, recorded the weight on their computer, and bagged the foam. I did maintenance work, inventory and safety training. I was forklift certified.

Temple Inland, 3/1/2011-9/6/2011

I became an operator on a 50" Flexo/Folder/Gluer within 2 weeks from starting employment with Temple Inland. I also have experience on a Jumbo Flexo/Folder/Gluer and a 36" S&S Flexo/Folder/Gluer.

International Paper 7/12/2010-2/28/2011

I was a Press Operator. I operated a 38" S & S Flexo Folder Gluer with lead edge feeder, prefeeder and load former.

Titles I held: Machine Operator, Corrugated Supervisor from 2005-2007, Plant Supervisor/Production Manager from 2007-2010. I was the Safety Chairman.

My accomplishments: 1) I have been on the Safety Committee several times. 2) I developed and implemented an Eye Protection Policy. 3) I developed and implemented a Voluntary Hearing Protection policy. 4) I developed a Monthly Safety Inspection form. 5) I am in the process of developing a Maintenance Work Order procedure. 6) I have worked with maintenance on repairing equipment. 7) I have gone through an OSHA inspection with a minimum fine for not having records up to date. Since then, I have updated Lock Out/Tag Out procedures on each machine. I keep up with Outside Contractor Forms, the Lock Out/Tag Out log, Hot Work Permits, and the Yearly Inspection Forms. 8) I am certified to drive a forklift. I have a Train the Trainer license. 9) I have created the die shop. This is an area where all the printing dies are kept and maintained. The responsibilities of this position includes cleaning and maintaining printing and cutting dies. The die person also repairs dieboards and keeps up with the supply inventory. The supplies being blades to repair dieboards, foam rubbers, tape, staples, etc. He is also responsible for the ink inventory. The die person job is also to have the printing and cutting dies at each machine ready for the crew, to reduce setup time.

My accomplishments and duties while I was employed at International Paper for 18 1/2 years:

1.) I have worked in the dieshop, mounting dies, ordering ink, etc.

2.) I have worked with maintenance repairing machines and doing special projects.

3.) I have welding experience.

4.) I have maintained machinery, equipment and conveyor systems.

5.) I have served on a safety committee several times.

6.) I was forklift certified.

7.) I was certified with CPR training.

8.) I was a member of the Emergency Fire Brigade.

9.) I have been through SPC and ISO training.

10.) I was a facilitator with the ISO training.

11.) I was the backup Supervisor for the last 4 1/2 years.

Working with maintenance at each employer, gave me the experience to weld, use shop tools properly, and the proper use of personal protective equipment.

I have been through an OSHA inspection and had all my records in place. This was April, 2010 with Age Industries while I was the Plant Supervisor.

I have an estimated ten to twelve years experience in a supervisory role. While at Age Industries, I was responsible for a production supervisor and 30 employees under me. I was the safety chairman.

I have been forklift certified with most employers. Also I held a certificate for "Control of Hazardous Energy".

I have worked directly with warehouse personnel for 3-4 years while employed at Age Industries. I am looking forward to being forklift certified with your company. I have loaded/unloaded trailers with machinery and corrugated boxes. I have worked with inventory numerous times. I have knowledge of using stretch wrap machines, pallet jacks, calculators, copy machines, fax machines and other office appliances. I am an average user of Word and Excel programs.

I am mechanically inclined and do my own mechanic work. I can take things apart and fix just about anything. I haven't had a title for assembly but show me once and you won't need to supervise me anymore.

I have been in the manufacturing/warehouse/production/inventory/shipping and receiving industry for 30 years.
