Security System (ETASS)
Supported the US Military at Camp Lemonier in Djibouti, Africa.
Responsible for problem resolution of issues associated with installation,
maintenance, testing, and operation of the ETASS system. Analyses task at
hand by reviewing specifications, and requirements. Plans, executes,
directs, and coordinate technical and maintenance activities involved in
the field installation, testing, and integration of systems and subsystems
equipment. Serves as the company's technical representative exercising a
high degree of tact, diplomacy, and judgment, conforming to policy and
directions with a minimum of supervision. Most work is performed outside in
extreme temperatures. ETASS is an advance open-systems command-and-control
platform incorporated with standoff and perimeter-detection technology,
through a wide array of detection and assessment technologies, including
ground-surveillance radars, fiber-optic sensors, micro wave, thermal
imagers and closed-circuit television cameras. ETASS is a deployable,
integrated security system that is able to be relocated and is used for a
variety of force-protection missions.

Supervises and manages Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT) network and server
systems. Responsible for all IT support, automation access, server
connectivity and operation of Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT) from cradle
to cradle lifecycle for two Battalions. Maintains and controls procedures
for IT services and documented training end-users on hardware and software
applications. Client installs, troubleshoots, laptops, servers, printers
and biometric devices. Expert screening/securing biometric peripherals
using Secure Metrics Iris Readers, Cross match/Guardian fingerprint
readers, and facial recognition devices. Trains end-users quarterly on how
to navigate laptops automation features inside the Biometrics database
dossiers and attached peripherals. Knowledge of Microsoft software and
maintenance SQL Server 2000, and Microsoft Office Suite operating systems.
Daily knowledge and use of configuring and securing IP network conventions,
protocols, and services. Familiar with data administration and data
standardization policies as well as standards required to develop and
maintain data management systems. Coordinates and resolves peripheral
problems and interprets system measurements of biometrics in the minutia
