Work Experience
Budweiser Big Rig Events/Logistics Coordinator April 2011-October 2011
Mosaic Sales and Solutions, Mississauga ON
• Travelled across Canada organizing and constructing entertainment gardens at major venues (Calgary Stampede, BoonStock, CMT, Bud Camp).
• Managed a team of nine that had the responsibility of creating these unique experiences for consumers.
• Essential roles included production management of consumer entertainment events, in field and in office. I was responsible for pulling together all human, financial, and technical resources to create a unique experience for consumers.
• Coordinated with professionals in all disciplines necessary to ensure a successful event. Consistently presented with high stress situations, which encouraged me to keep an open mind and work with the people around me to come up with the best possible solution for all parties involved.
• It was also my responsibility to be the master of ceremonies on the Big Rig. With this opportunity I would inform patrons on the day-to-day activities we had provided for them, and run live competitions for consumers giving them an opportunity to interact with the brand and win prizes. I also used this opportunity to provide the target market crowd with up to the minute sports updates, on all live games that day.
Budweiser Brand Ambassador for University of Guelph Campus
Mosaic Sales and Solutions, Mississauga ON Sept 2009-April 2009, Sept 2010
• While attending university, I worked full time promoting the Budweiser brand.
• Main responsibility was to promote the partnership between the NFL and Budweiser. I would accomplish this task by interacting with consumers, interviewing them on their knowledge of the NFL, and getting consumers involved in sports debates, which prompted them to go in-depth about their sports opinions. Pushing the target market to participate in different social medians, including facebook, to convey their opinions and generate good sports content.
• I would collect data for the brand, and track the increase/decrease in consumer trends.
• I reached out to all medians and organizations that the University students could potentially belong to and attempted to sponsor such events that would relate to the target market.
• My measurement of success was a percentage sales increase.
Budweiser Emcee April 2009-October 2011
SWO (Southwestern Ontario)
