Project 1: Indian Railway Project
Duration: 6 months
Description: Indian Railways is an Indian state-owned railway company headquartered in New Delhi, India. It is owned and operated by the Government of India through the Ministry of Railways. It has the world's fourth largest railway network after those of the United States, Russia and China. The requirement in the project was to convert EIGRP into OSPF. My responsibility was to implement this conversion and troubleshoot them.
Project 2: Security Implementation in Air India Networks
Duration: 4 months
Description: Air India is the flag carrier airline of India. It is part of the government of
India owned Air India Limited (AIL). The airline operates a fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft
serving Asia, Europe and North America. Its corporate office is located at the Air India
Building at Nariman Point in South Mumbai. Air India has two major domestic hubs at Indira
Gandhi International Airport and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. An international hub
at Dubai International Airport is currently being planned.
Air India has the fourth largest share in India's domestic air travel market, behind Jet
Airways, Indigo and Spice Jet, as of May 2012.
The project describes security issues and goals along with security problems, threats, and risks in
Air India networks. It describes crippling attacks against all of them and suggests
countermeasures and design considerations. My responsibility was to implement VPN and to
handle the firewall operations in securing from threats.
