Graduated July 2008. Computer intensive online course covering medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, grammar and punctuation, proofreading and editing, medical word building, Keyboard Kinetics, and much more. Transcription experience included typing well over 1,000 medical reports in all medical specialties, and included all types of hospital reports, i.e., H&Ps, operative notes, imaging studies, discharge summaries, etc., utilizing WAV file technology.

· One of many temporary positions I have held over the years. I did well with these positions, and was supplied with ample work, due to my ability to learn quickly and adapt well.
· Routed mail, exclusively over the computer, throughout the company's various departments.
Data Entry, 6/2006 to 7/2006
National Research Center/Celebrity Staffing, Lincoln, Nebraska
· Temporary position consisting of matching hospitals listed in surveys to their listed codes.
· Required a great deal of internet research, and attention to small detail.
Data Processing and Mail, 1/2006 to 5/2006
State Farm Insurance/Spherion Staffing, Lincoln, Nebraska
· Temporary position consisting of entering fire insurance applications into the company's system, as well as preparing them for processing, and helping the mailroom with anything that needed done, such as sorting, and entering other types of mail into the system.
· This position required a great deal of speed and accuracy. Any mistakes were documented, and my department was expected to finish the work that was presented to us daily, however large the volume. There was a daily list stating who had the highest volume of applications typed, and I was most often second on the list, as well as rarely having less than 100% accuracy.
Front Desk Secretary and Receptionist, 3/2005 to 12/2005
Lincoln Water System/Today Staffing, Lincoln, Nebraska
· Hired as a full time temporary worker to help the front desk with taking appointments and organizing service for the meter change program.
· Consisted not only of taking appointments and entering them into the system, but also taking care of the various other types of calls received. Also dealt with correspondence relating to this task, as well as many other secretarial duties such as typing letters, faxing, filing, and helping customers.
· Multitasking and self-discipline were very important factors to being successful in this position. One was given their tasks, and how these things got done were primarily up to the person performing them. Therefore, the ability to organize one's own time and materials wisely was essential.
Skills
Proficient in the use of computer systems, and a variety of office equipment, as well as an experienced typist and proofreader. I am well organized, learn very quickly, and adapt to situations quickly as well. I pay keen attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills.
