Primary tasks: Contract review & develop “New Product” assembly & inspection processes & fixtures. Setup LEAN Manufacturing cell(s), train assemblers & balance assembly operations, materials, & tasks for desired personnel/TAKT ratios. Review defect data for Root Causes & Initiate Corrective or Preventive Actions. Conduct ISO 13485, 9001.2000 internal audits. 1989-1998: Quality Supervisor, ECI Telecom Inc., Altamonte Springs, 32701 (Telecommunications products manufacturer, also built avionics assemblies for Israel’s Ministry of Defense). Responsible for receiving & “In Process” Quality inspection operations at ISO 9001 certified electronics manufacturing & design facility. Additional responsibilities included; Vendor qualification & surveillance, CMM dimensional data reports, chairing MRB meetings, critique of prototype designs, review & report on supplier 1st articles, managed & maintained calibration of 500+ testing devices. Participated in QA/Manufacturing technology exchange at corporate plant in Petah Tikvah, Israel.
