Feasibility studies involve discussing with the client the general requirements of the project
developing the alignment options, identifying the constructability issues and land ownership requirements.
Ridership studies, rolling stock identification and headway calculations are required to be carried out during this phase, train “Line diagrams” and the initial timetables to be formulated.
Station concept and depot concept design is required and presented to the client.
Pre-qualification
Pre-qualification packages are required to be assembled from the consortium members, for the financial status of each company, technical and project references, and include executive summaries.
Tender
Tender collation requiring a number of operations ranging from Alignment checks and value engineering, Bills of Quantities, Headway calculations, timetables, Line diagrams, rolling stock assessments, and operation strategies.
Costing for the project, verification for the designs, and the assembly of tender documents is required for the issue of the tender to the client.
Construction
The project management of the construction phase of the project including, monitoring, cost control, customer interface and all aspects of the construction requirements.
Testing & Commissioning
During this phase the Testing & Commissioning plan is required to be implemented and managed for the individual testing requirements and the integrated testing of the systems.
This phase also includes the operational readiness and verification from the authorities responsible for the railway or infrastructure projects in the relevant country.
Concessionaire
BOT projects require a concessionaire period, during this time the individual concessionaires are required to be co-ordinated and monitored for performance, against the original BOT agreements we are involved in the administration and operations of the concessionaire agreements set up the maintenance requirements and implementation.

Project brief
Phnom Penh the capital of Cambodia required a concept report on the transportation needs of the city, surveys were carried out and we undertook a comprehensive study of the needs of the people and the city. The concept report was delivered on time and presented to the government. The report was a success and the rights to continue with a feasibility study and preliminary report was granted.
These studies are now currently being carried out, leading to Construction 3rd quarter 2010.
Kazakhstan Astana LRT
Project brief:
Astana the capital of Kazakhstan requires a new inner city transit system for the expanding
Ridership of the capital. The transit system will expand within the city centre and interface with existing track systems. New rolling stock stations and depots will be built to accommodate the ridership along the new corridor.
Job roll:
To develop the “master plan” and design the systems required for the project, and present to the client, Alignment, Station designs, Depot Designs, Costing, BoQ, and Presentations.
Saudi Arabia Makah Medina High speed rail link
Project brief
The Makah Medina high speed rail BOT project and is approximately 444 km of Double
and single electrified track, 6 stations, depots and rolling stock, E&M Core systems
Signaling and communication.

The project involves consortium formation, pre-qualification documents, design and cost of systems, tender collation, implementation, construction and operation.
Brazil High Speed Rail Project (Project Est. Value: $USD 9 billion)
