Fidelity Alerts has the goal to deliver time sensitive critical information to customers in real time via various channels and platforms. It has been the best Alert system amongst all brokerage companies since last 6 years. I work closely work with customer care team to identify new features, enhancements and possibilities in the application.
This is a J2EE internet system serving all Fidelity Retail Customers. Customers set various types of alerts, like Trade Executions, Price Triggers, Watch List, Fixed Income, Account Balance and positions to receive those alerts on to their email, Active Trader Pro and/or any wireless device. This application resides @fidelity.com.
My Streetscape Wireless: My Streetscape wireless is a stock trading application for mobile devices. It serves all Fidelity’s advisors. Advisors perform all kind of stock trading activities on their iPhone and Android phone. I am the ScrumMaster in the development as well as the product manager of the product. Using Agile methodologies, getting phased development, setting intermediate deliverables and milestones for the development to present to client. Customers will be able to trade stocks (including conditional and trailing stop orders), mutual funds, see balances & positions, receive alerts, and trade & exchange foreign currencies via their iPhone and Android phone. It’s enhanced version will be coming for iPad, development is going on. iPad version will be having full order central in it. Leveraging iPad’s big screen for multi layer design of this product.
Family Office: Family Office group explores new opportunities with Fidelity’s wealthiest customers. Interacting with sales team of Family Office to provide various kind of marketing tools and features on iPad and iPhone. This is a peculiar application for Fidelity’s ultra wealthy clients. Using Agile methodology, converted website primarily using flex extensively to HTML 5 specifications, to make it iPad friendly. Coordinated with business sponsors to identify their requirements and worked with development team to accomplish the task. Bundled whole website in an app to run on iPad.
Wireless FX/Domestic Trading: A trading application which allows Institutional and retail customers to trade on their wireless devices. They can trade domestic stocks, international stock and settle the trade in US dollars or in the base currency of the stock. Currently enhancing current system to incorporate conditional orders for institutional customers.
Active Trader Pro Alert System: It’s a specialty system only for Fidelity’s active trading customers. All new Active Trader Pro customers are setup to receive their trading alerts on their desktop.
Alerts for Institutional Customers: This application has around 40 web pages. It’s a standalone website, serving to institutional customers. This application has its own authentication and authorization system.
IPO & Fixed Income: All Fidelity customers who want to participate in any Initial Public Offering or any Fixed Income have to sign up to get alerts, so they could be notified when the offering gets priced. Customers then download prospectus before actually participating for the offering.
Electronic Channel Applications’ Website: Managed a team of 4 developers to accomplish a web based application. Its an intranet system serving Fidelity employees. It provides various type of trading information for customers and other type of information for higher management. It involves multi tier platforms, mainframe, database
Who’s Who messaging: Employees can browse other employees’ contact information at Fidelity Central, from there they can send messages to any of the available device, as pager, office email or personal email. Employee can manage the contact information by making them public or private as they prefer to receive their messages.
Streetscape Alerts: A project built for business allies of Fidelity, they can sign-up alerts for their customers. Their reps can manage alerts for some or all customers depending on the customization of their product.

• Over the course of time, have worked on various applications in pricing and trade support arena for different types of financial instruments; equities, fixed income, options etc. Few of the key ones are:
