Carry out surveys to various North Sea platforms and Angola Africa. Writing survey reports, Material take offs and write up job cards for all construction activities involved with the upgrade of surveyed platforms, jack up’s and semi submersibles.

February 2012 to June 2012 Construction Supervisor / Manager BIS Salamis

Working on the Chevron Captain FPSO North Sea. Chevron have contracted BIS Salamis to refit and upgrade levels 4, 5 and 6 to include new accommodation, HVAC upgrade, pipe work black and gray lines, new stairwells and structural changes to include new life boat davits for bigger life boats as the size of personnel and crew is to be up manned. Organising crew changes and designating personnel for specific tasks, ordering materials and man power.

December 2011 to January 2012 Accommodation Refurbishment Services

Working for Accommodation Refurbishment Services having been asked to survey and supply over 40 A60 gas tight single, double and sliding external fire doors to the Al Shaheen oil and gas field in the Arabian Gulf offshore Qatar for Maersk oil Qatar. Modifications to the bulk walls were needed as bad corrosion around the existing A60 doors and frames needed attention with new box sections around the door apertures installed before door installation could begin. All surveys, ordering of materials, organising and setting black trades, riggers, scaffolder’s painters were organised by myself to help with the smooth operation of the door installations.

Working offshore Qatar supervising a multi discipline team of technicians and tradesman on system commissioning, punch lists and completion for 4 x accommodation platforms BF, CF, EF and GC located within the Al Shaheen Field. Work also included A60 Insulation to Bulk walls and deck heads cellar deck bulk walls with galvanised sheet cladding, Mineral fibre insulation and stainless steel cladding to the plant room 4” and 6” water lines

At the request of the offshore field Manager I was latterly transferred to the MOG operational maintenance department to provide guidance with various design changes architecturally on numerous platform installations throughout the Al Shaheen field

June 2008 – November 2008 Offshore Architectural Supervisor SLP Engineering

Mobilized to Qatar to assist the Hook up and commissioning Manager in preparation for the offshore HUC of four integrated accommodation topsides. Specific duties included the appraisal of the outstanding architectural scope of work, the development of the offshore completion plan including labour and material requirements and the development of the individual task job cards. Offshore duties included the supervision of a team of tradesman, reporting of achieved progress to the shore base project management team

Upon completion of the hook up works I was asked to transfer to Maersk Oil Qatar to join their Project Management Team.

April 2008 – June 2008 Architectural engineering field support Superintendant SLP Engineering

Employed in the position of Architectural engineering field support superintendant for the onshore completion and offshore hook up and commissioning, of four integrated accommodation platforms for Maersk Oil Qatar’s Al Shaheen field development. My duties included the development of the completion work scope, the development of all required job cards for the onshore and offshore completion, organising personnel, supervision of various architectural, construction, and safety equipment activities, documentation and completion certificates.

May 2007 – April 2008 Construction coordinator field support Superintendant McGill Services

SLP Hamilton road yard working as Construction coordinator field support superintendant, directly with the project manager and client on 4 Mearsk modules bound for Qatar. Duties also included making of work packs, leasing with client and contractor to over come various construction queries and problems.

January 2007 – May 2007 Architectural engineering field support Superintendant Keppel SLP LLC. Houston TX.

Architectural engineering field support superintendant on 2 week hook-up on both modules, before changing to contract manager running an insurance claim, due to HA-KU-M running into stormy weather on the sail from Brownsville to the site in the southern Gulf of Mexico. Duties were surveying storm damage to level 5 battery room and mezzanine level battery room. Ordering new walls, floors systems, raised computer floors, doors, uni strut, paints and all tools and equipment etc. All associated documentation, hiring a Mexican crew of 15 to start and finish the task, working out crew changes for the 4 month task.

April 2006 – December 2006: Architectural Field support Superintendant Keppel SLP LLC. Houston TX

Employed as Architectural Field support Superintendant, overseeing the construction, Load out and commissioning of the Pemex accommodation modules HA-KU-M and HA-KU-S, at The Keppel Amfels Ship Yard in Brownsville Texas.

Running Insulation program renewing all stainless steel and mineral fibre insulation and replacing with new Armaflex and PVC Ulvasheild sheet coverings to all major gas lines from 1” to 24” lines on SNS Conoco platforms

Employed by G &H McGill on various short-term contracts that included working at SLP Shipyard Lowestoft fitting out accommodation modules and insulation work for Amerada Hess and BP Bruce Platform. Later sent to British Gas 47 3B Platform constructing new computer room. Work included flooring B.D. System Wall and Danacustic ceilings, wet locker rooms, offices, ceilings and stairwells. Lagging of pipework was also carries out to the HVAC system in Battery Room
