This project reduced CPU seconds used per week on Teradata by 50%, reduced Teradata Storage needs by 250 GB; reduced weekly process execution time by 50% from 9 hours to 4.5 hours. This project has resulted in a validated annual financial savings of US $302, 626.
• Managed the development and implementation of a Services and Business Operations reporting solution in EDW for European business partners. This project resulted in optimized report & query performance, improved customer experience and a consistent business SLA.
• Managed the development and implementation of Americas DPS project to consolidate the US, Canada & Latin America regional Customer Service data into EDW using Ab Initio ETL and Teradata without losing the regional functionality. Worked closely with business partners, source system experts and multiple data warehouse cross-functional teams to analyze the business rules and migration strategy. Raw data was extracted from Oracle 10G RAC database.
• Managed the development and implementation of ESD/ESF project to load customer service monitoring data into EDW using Ab Initio ETL process. Raw data was provided in the flat files. Negotiated with the business to eliminate use of business rules in the ETL, including the anomaly processing, which in turn reduced the load and system resources required by the ETL.
• Managed enhancements to the E-survey reporting project in EDW. Improved business processes to bridge the data gap between the survey source and survey answer detail information and enabled accurate VOC reporting.

• Developed a IFIR/MWD customer experience metric data mart. This project involved the service incidents on the computers and peripherals shipped as well as the missing, wrong, or damaged items for an order. Using this data, a rollup was developed in Oracle to capture the incidents occurred on the computers and peripherals, business rule exceptions in determining the metric, summary based on the LOB, etc.
• Followed the standard change control procedures to implement the projects. Utilized Remedy to communicate the change details to the business as well as the management team.
