Duties: Work in the tool room (full machine shop) in which preventive maintenance is performed on molds in to maintain the molds in good working order. When performing a PM on molds they are disassembled cleaned, inspected for damage/ repair as needed, ensure water channels are clear of debris for cooling water flow and reassembled. Perform machining, polishing, welding, and benching as required for jobs. Create work orders and document any work done on molds and keep track of time for records. Assist and keep in good communication with quality lab, techs, and engineers for any problems or changes that need to be addressed. Work overtime and be on call as required. Work towards continuous improvement and follow safety rules as well as participate in the 6S program in place.
