I have aggressively perused opportunities within the two companies I have been employed with for the past 24 years. Both companies have provided me with the leading edge training, state of the art facilities and allowed me to develop a high level of staff management skills. During my tenure with Penske automotive I was charged with moving among the underperforming stores in the Phoenix market and effecting necessary changes to make them profitable and raising the CSI level to corporate standards.

Duties: Manage daily service operations responsibilities for 43 staff members

2007 – 2009 Scottsdale Paint and Body

Title: General Manager

Duties: Manage daily operations in this 130,000 sq ft facility. Average sales 1.0 million per month

with a staff of 65 employees.

Highlights: Designed and implemented process and structure using lean philosophy. Reduced

expenses 30% and achieved a $ 750,000 positive profit swing in 20 months.

2005 – 2007 Mercedes Benz of Chandler

Title: Fixed Operations Director

Duties: Daily Parts and Service operations management and oversight of 60 employees

Highlights: Dealer had major SES and warranty problems. Designed and implemented results based

pay plans moving dealer from 70–30 warranty to reverse 30-70 in customer pay sales.

When assignment was completed the dealer consistently ran 1-2 in region for SES.

2003 – 2005 Penske Automotive Corporate

Title: Arizona Fixed Operations Manager

Duties: Responsibility of all fixed operations in AZ which consisted of 22 franchises,

18 Service Managers, 12 Parts Managers and Body shop Manager. Assisted General

Managers in daily operations improvement . Involved in recruiting, staffing and

department analysis. Made recommendations to both General Managers and Western

region Manager for improvements. Implemented improvements at store level.

Highlights: All dealers moved above the manufacture benchmarks for service customer satisfaction.

2002 – 2003 Tempe Honda

Title: Fixed Operations Director

Duties: Daily Parts and Service operations management and oversight of 75 employees.

Recruit and Staff new 85,000 sq ft facility.

Highlights: When complete we had gone from last place (8 dealers) to # 2 in region for CSI and

# 1 in total fixed operations sales. Dealer is now # 1 both categories with the same core

management team I originally staffed.
