ACTIVITIES
I serve as the assistant in a multi-religious young women’s Bible Study class in which there were various
religious services conducted. I served as the Senior Teen Leader in the Gospel service, which entails
leading group discussion under supervision of the Minister for the Fort Belvoir Gospel Service Teen
Ministry. I prayed with other teens on a one on one basis. I was part of the decision-making process when
looking to place teens so they could serve in an outreach ministry. I presented myself as a leader among
my peers at all times. I took time out to visit the sick and newborn baby ward with the Hospital Ministry
at DeWitt Army Community Hospital on Fort Belvoir in past years. As we are all aware, the military is
one of diversity, I was unselfishly kind and respectful to each and every one I visited. My kind words of
encouragement and smile was contagious. In addition, I am an active member of the Chowan University
and Fort Belvoir Woodlawn Chapel gospel choir. I am involved in my community through the different
ministries that I've served. I have developed leadership qualities, willingness to help others, and
communication through my involvement as a Senior Teen Leader .
