Senior IT Executive/Project Architect, 2008 – 2009

Developed solutions and managed infrastructure deployment, facilities planning, business operations, and process teams for delivery of network services, servers, and PBXs for a $1.6B business.

• Reduced cost by 40% to deployment, engagement, engineering and transition, by reengineering process and procedures.

• Reduced labor cost by minimum of 35% by utilizing IBM Global Resources in India, Brazil, China and other global centers.

• Collaborated with CIO and CFO on regular basis to review budgets, Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), outages and new business.

Managed new and existing service offerings, and developed delivery models, cost cases, process flows and network configurations. Responsibilities included providing guidance to CIOs and CFOs for proposals for outsourcing their information technology to IBM.

• Developed and managed annual budget for eBusiness Hosting Services, reducing costs from $42M to $25M by utilizing global resources, reduction of sites, services offerings and life cycle maintenance.

• Developed/implemented highly successful, new IBM storage and server offerings for e/Business Hosting Services and Service Product Line Development.

• Led the delivery of IBM Global Support centers in India, Germany, China and USA that provided a more efficient support for customers globally.

• Served as Lead Architect of e-Business service offerings within IBM delivery of Facilities Services, Network Services, Support Services and Performance Services.

• Provided technical support for the eBusiness hosting services centers that were located at ATT, Qwest, Bell South and IBM.

• Led Network Operation teams to ensure deliverables were met and costed. Reviewed pre-sales solutions for external customers, verifying Network Operations ability to support those solutions.

• Reduced networking cost by $1M per month by utilizing new architect techniques to produce a more efficient configuration.

• Reengineered order information, asset tracking, and physical and logical builds of network configurations that improved the turnaround for new orders to the customers by 30%.

Project Manager-Switched Services Support, 1994 – 1996

Led team of other Project Managers within the department that migrated customers to ADVANTIS Private Voice Network.
