Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Technician 09/96 - Present
Responsible for updating PM document procedure for all point of use scrubbers, IE Novapure, Vectors, W-Doc, Guardians, Airgurds, Ebara, and Centrotherm- thermal-wet scrubbers. Installed new airgurd scrubbers, done all the ISO drawings and welding of piping, FRP work for the exhaust line and all the tubing for CDA, N2 and water, for the new scrubbers. Work with the State Elevator and Boiler inspector on the yearly inspection. Worked on troubleshooting elevators and doing some minor repairs.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Technician 09/96-2003
Managing and coordinating all facilities startup and commissioning for 1.5 million ft2 semiconductor wafer fabrication facility of which 100K ft2 is class 1/1k clean room, through reviewing blue prints and build of material to verified they meets all ASME, NBC, NFP code and to insure they were done to the spec. Implemented a method to track and close problems during construction/start-up. Work with the State Elevator and Boiler inspector on getting the operating permits. Responsible for document control procedure for ISO 9002 and 14000 certification for mechanical systems in just 6 months. Updated and coordinated training of operating procedures and repairs of all facilities equipment from boilers, pumps, chillers, air handlers, temperature and humidity controls to waste water control. Responsible for the start up of AWN system, writing and implementing PM procurers, setting up of SAP program, for the mechanical department. Responsible for leak testing, hydro testing and NDT testing for tool hook up. Perform other work like tig welding, orbital welding, mig welding, and cutting gas and plasma torch. Responsible for the safety, of the Facilities Department, as well as environmental controls for the plant. Operated the Cimplicity SCADA software system for the FAB operation and control’s.

Assigned to Sima’s outside Machinery repair shop, responsible for the intermediate maintenance repairs for 61 ships of the Pacific Fleet. Perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair/overhaul, auxiliary machinery, dishwasher, steam pots, hot water heaters, pluming, AC compressors, air compressors, and all types of deck equipment. Responsible for directing 26 personnel in the proper operation/maintenance and repairs the propulsion plant. Retired.
