Developed Quality program from scratch. Instituted 100% inspection of all final products. Outlined quality standards for all aspects including fabrication, powder coating, final assembly, and packaging/shipping. Developed tracking metrics for both external customer complaints and internal press room activity including costs. Began "culture change" process by tying cost of quality metrics into departmental bonus structures. Run regular audits of product and processes. Improved lean techniques and flow throughout multiple areas of the shop, including Kanbans when appropriate. Performed 5S tasks, created TPM documents, and Standard Work instructions. Also assisted in re-work control and development of a new inventory control system.
